Game 1
UC Davis watched the game slip away early and could not recover in a 10-1 loss to Sacramento State. Sac State took the lead in the second inning. The Aggies struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Sacramento State, giving up ten runs. Joanne Camaquin was in the circle for UC Davis, pitching four innings, allowing six hits and six runs while striking out one. Tricia Leong threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Paulina Binsfeld led UC Davis offensively with two hits in two at bats.
Game 2
A walk-off single led the Aggies past Sacramento State 4-3 in Game 2 of the series. UC Davis was down 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Ashlee Vasquez singled, scoring two runs. Hannah Sarlatte led things off on the rubber for the Aggies allowing five hits and 3 runs over six innings, striking out three and walking zero. UC Davis tallied eleven hits in the game led by Siobhan Murphy and Vasquez. Murphy went 3 for 3 for the Aggies.
Game 3
The final game of the series was a heartbreaker for UC Davis, as they lost the lead late in a 12-11 defeat. The game was tied at ten with Sacramento State batting in the top of the sixth inning when they singles, scoring one run. UC Davis collected thirteen hits and Sac State had fifteen. Allie Poore started the game for the Aggies, pitching three innings and allowing six hits and seven runs while striking out one. Tricia Leong threw three innings out of the bullpen. UC Davis’s high scoring affair was led by Paulina Binsfeld, Melanie Callahan, and Lilia Simpson who each had two hits. Callahan also knocked one out of the park in the first inning.
